MVNO Lebara said it has expanded its Lebara Play subscription streaming video service, adding Hindi, Bengali and Punjabi content. Customers were already able to access Tamil, Turkish, French West African and English West African content. The service also gone Europe-wide, with users able to download the Lebara Play app in 39 European country app stores.
Lebara recently signed deals with a number of leading Asian networks, namely Sony MSM Network (Sony MAX, Sony TV Asia, Sony SAB), Star Network (Star Plus, Star Life OK, Star Gold, Star Jalsha), Viacom18 Network (Colors, Colors Bangla, Zee Network (Zee TV, &TV, Zee Cinema’s catalogue, Zee Bangla, Zee Punjabi), PTC Network (PTC Punjabi, PTC News, PTC Chak De), Bollywood’s B4U (B4U Music, B4U Movies), and Times Network, the TV division of India's media conglomerate Times of India group.
Lebara subscription packages start from GBP 9.99 per month for web, tablet and smartphone. Customers subscribing now will get a 50 percent introductory discount on their first month. The Lebara Play app is available to download for free from iTunes App Store and Google Play in 39 European countries. Customers can also access services on PC and Mac.
